Boguty tungsten mine may start initial production by the end of the yearAs the world's largest monomer tungsten mine project currently under construction and one of the first key projects of production capacity cooperation between China and Kazakhstan, the construction process of Boguty tungsten mine project has been highly concerned by the industry inside and outside.At present, the project has entered the sprint stage, is expected to be initially put into production at the end of the year, and full production next year. Boguty Tungsten is the largest tungsten ore mine in Kazakhstan, with tungsten ore reserves of about 120 million tons. The designed open-pit mining scale can reach 3.3 million tons/year, which can be gradually increased to 4.95 million tons/year after two years of production. The project will be fully started on May 31, 2021, with a construction period of two years, and is expected to be completed and put into operation in June 2023, but it has been delayed due to the impact of the epidemic. |
